ASD's FieldSpec Dual software works with your existing FieldSpec systems to synchronize collection of white reference and target measurements:
l collect spectra under less than perfect atmospheric conditions
l collect more accurate spectra
l Rapidly changing atmospheric conditions pose one of the greatest obstacles to the collection of accurate field-collected reflectance spectra using solar illumination
l Field measurements collected in illumination conditions that are inconsistent with the associated reference measurement cannot be reproduced or correlated to imagery with any degree of certainty
l Traditionally field work is limited to days with favorable atmospheric conditions, often incurring additional and often unbudgeted project costs waiting for good weather.
